Has Mysticism always fascinated you but the readings to enlighten the general public have been not only difficult to read by practically inaccessible? This modern mystical classic, written in 1949, turns all of that around for people who are mildly interested in learning more about mysticism as well as those with a much more intense interest. Oupensky details Gurdjieff’s ideas in a format that even the layman can grasp. Much of these original ideas were passed down via word of mouth. Not until Gurdjieff were these ideas presented in written form. Reading and understanding mysticism through Gurdjieff’s eyes has been made assessable and easy in this text.

A series of essays or commentaries on aspects of the film "The Matrix" that merit expansion, by doctors, economists, philosophers, religious scholars and technologists. Clears up a lot of questions raised by the film about symbolism etc, and present the philosophy in a great way. If you like The Matrix, why haven't you read this before?

I cannot recommend this highly enough. This fiction book can be hard to obtain, but is amazing and worth the effort. on the surface a collection of stories, underneath it an amazing non-linear psychology manual about the ways and means of change. Read and enjoy...

The Q Gospel, and the Gospel of Thomas. As in "Doubting Thomas". Cool..... This religious philosophy book, presents readers with alternative ideas, and theories of the role Jesus played in the early Christian Church. It provides sayings, or information from two sources, known as the Q and the Coptic Gospel of Thomas that provide more information about Jesus from sources believed to be used by Matthew and Luke when they wrote their accounts of the life of Christ.

Taisha Abelar was taught by the female members of Don Juan's group, so this is kind of a female Castenada. A great read.

Slightly complex but filled with interesting insights, this book explores a researched theory of how the brain makes connections and forms ideas that lead to symbolism. Fascinatingly the authors also suggest that this ability of the mind which is found only in humans was necessary to the development of language, art and science. Probably not the best book for an introduction to cognitive thinking but definitely a must read for anyone already familiar with this field.
