I provide retained HR consultancy to small businesses, both in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, Bristol and as far afield as London and Kent!  The arrangement can vary from my being present at the company 2-4 days per month, or just being available for advice and support by telephone or email plus the ability to visit onsite as and when required.

Many businesses are at a loss with how to deal with the more unpleasant aspects pf staff management - performance management, deadline with staff conflicts, grievances, disciplinary matters - and terminating employees who no longer serve the organisation's best interests.

How to fire someone or even how to reprimand someone for poor performance or unacceptable behaviour is a matter that no company should take lightly, and having access when necessary to a professional to advise and carry out the necessary  is something that many of my clients view as priceless.

Small companies, SME's and owner-managed companies often cannot afford the overhead of an HR professional or Personnel expert, so access to one to advise the in-house staff member who takes on this day-to-day responsibility can be of great benefit.

Not only do my clients enjoy the benefit of having someone to chat these matters over with, but they can draw on my HR consultancy services as and when on an hourly fee if necessary (no day rates required).  They can do anything from discussing a problem and possible solutions and the consequences of these by telephone, to having me come in and execute their chosen solution so that it is done humanely, legally, and professionally on their behalf.

My flexible billing means a client can have an ongoing monthly retained service, or just a per hour fee arrangement on an as and when basis.
