Post-Christmas Fatigue Syndrome...

What's new?  Well, I stayed ill right up till Christmas and after - managed to get the norovirus (vomiting and diarrhea bug) after the abscess cleared up and that was immediately followed by the flu, which has left me with a bad cough that will not go away!

What's astonishing is that usually I'm never ill and don't get all these bugs going around.  I'm like Typhoid Mary, a carrier but never getting them myself!

Here is my latest creation, modelled by my Mother.  Here she is modelling my Christmas present to her, along with a stunning "deer caught in the headlights" look!  This knitting pattern wins a prize for being the pattern I had to unpick and rework the most times ever - thanks Noro for that cryptic pattern.  For those with a technical curiosity, you go from a 12 stitch and 6 x 2 stitch pattern repeat to a 5 x 2 and 10 stitch pattern repeat with NO INSTRUCTIONS whatsoever!  Ah well I have a history of staying up till 2am Christmas Day finishing my Mother's Christmas presents...

Beautiful! I'm jealous--of you for being able to do that, and of Mom for having such a pretty, comfy-cozy sweater. Which reminds me, I'm chilled again.

I love it! I can crochet and knit dishcloths and scarves and anything else square or rectangular. Not too impressive, huh? I took it up when I quit smoking and it helped me not commit bodily harm :)

I'd love to learn how to knit a sweater!
I'm dying to see those 'Dynasty' creations. I'll have to find old reruns and look for fancy sweaters!

Great sweater - I love knitting and crochet currently working on a cardi for me and a shawl for my grandaughter - no way could I work without a pattern though.
